Elon Musk is said to have directed Twitter's teams to cut up to $1 billion in annual infrastructure costs, as part of a 'Deep Cuts Plan' that could result in the service going down during high-traffic events like the US midterm elections. Twitter is said to be aiming to find up to $3 million (roughly Rs. 24 crore) a day in savings from servers and cloud services.
