5G Spectrum Auction: DoT Receives Bids Worth 1.49 Lakh Crore, as Auction Stretches to Fourth Day

The 5G spectrum auction in India is set to stretch to the fourth day today after 16 rounds of bidding which have fetched bids worth 1,49,623 crore. Reliance Jio, Airtel, Vodafone Idea and a unit of billionaire Adani Enterprises are bidding for 5G spectrum, which is much faster than current generation 4G technology in India.
