Apple Working on CarPlay Extension to Let iPhone Handsets Control Car's A/C, Speedometer, Radio, Seats, More

Apple is looking to expand the functions of CarPlay by introducing new technology that will let iPhone gadgets control a car's climate-control system, speedometer, radio, seats, and more. The initiative, known as “IronHeart” internally, is still in its early stages and would require the cooperation of automakers.
