Bitcoin Billionaire Mircea Popescu Dies At 41, Leaves Behind Controversial Legacy

Mircea Popescu, a Romanian Bitcoin pioneer who started the MPex exchange in 2012, was found dead in Costa Rica. He was a controversial figure in the cryptocurrency community, seen as both a visionary, and a racist, sexist, bigot.
