Alibaba, Tencent, Others Summoned by Chinese Regulators Over Deepfake Tech

Alibaba, Tencent, ByteDance, and some other companies were recently summoned by Chinese regulators for talks on use of 'deepfake' technologies on their content platforms, stepping up scrutiny of the sector.
