Apple Watch, HomePod Users Report of Activation Failure During Setup

Apple Watch and HomePod customers have reported activation failures online. One user found that two new Apple Watch SE purchases failed verification upon setup. Several other users have commented below his post confirming that they were experiencing similar problems.
