China’s Moon Probe to Seek First Lunar Rocks Retrieval for a Nation Since 1970s
China plans to launch a moon probe this week to bring back lunar rocks in the first attempt by any nation to retrieve samples from Earth's natural satellite since the 1970s. China's Chang'e-5 probe will attempt to collect 2 kg (4 1/2 pounds) of samples in a previously unvisited area.
